DropletSign is now available as an additional product you can purchase, either as an addition to your existing Droplet package or as a standalone feature. For more information, contact Droplet Support at support@droplet.io.
Upload your PDF
Click the New eSign button under DropletSign, then choose whether to upload a document to Send just once or to Build a reusable document. Then, upload your PDF file.
Send just once means you don't intend to save this document for sending again. It's perfect for one-offs like specific employment contracts or individualized documents.
Build a reusable document. is more like creating a template document that you do intend to save for sending again later. It's perfect for general use documents that aren't specific to individuals or situations, and can be flexible enough to accommodate multiple different scenarios.
In the upper-left corner, give the file a clear name (for example, “Acceptable Use Policy”).

Set Assignees
On the Recipients tab, add at least one signer by clicking Select an assignee.
If this is a one-off form you are sending just once, you can either search a list of droplet users, or select Input static name and email (for people without a Droplet account), then click Assign.
If you chose to build a reusable document, you also have the option for flexible roles. Select Someone different each time and write an Assignee Title (like "Parent" or "Principal") and click Assign.
By default, all assignees receive the document at the same time and can sign simultaneously.
To control the order, turn on Set assignee order in the upper-right corner, then drag the recipient cards into the sequence you want.
You can place some recipients in a single step to sign together, or arrange them in separate steps to sign one after another.
When ready, scroll down to Assignee Message to create custom messages.
Write your Message
On the Recipients tab, scroll down to the Assignee Message and edit the subject line to fit your needs.
Adjust the standard body message.
Your edits apply by default whenever you send the document, but you can edit the message for each individual send, if needed.
Scroll down to Additional Recipients and choose a recipient to receive the final PDFs once all assignments are complete.

When ready, click Next in in the bottom right corner or select the Document tab.
Add Fields
On the Document tab, confirm the current assignee in the top left.
Drag fields onto the PDF from the library panel on the left. These fields will be for the currently-selected assignee to complete.

Resize and position the field as needed. Use the right panel to adjust formatting properties, such as the font size.
If you have more than one assignee, select the next assignee in the upper-left list first, then drag the fields they need to complete onto the PDF.
The color of the assignee will match their fields.
Repeat for all assignees.
With the field selected, change the Assignee at the top of the right-hand properties panel.

Finished? Click the Send at the top.
Send your Document
Click Send in the top-right corner.
For any role-based assignees, enter their name and email now.
Tweak the email message if this specific send needs extra context. Changes here affect only this send, never the template.
Click the Send button at the bottom of the screen.
Once the last signer finishes, everyone receives a copy of the signed PDF, and you can monitor status anytime from the Submissions tab on the eSign page within Droplet.
