How do I find the Submission I'm looking for?

The My Submissions, All Submissions, and My Assignments pages have similar interfaces for viewing submissions. The Filter, Active/Archived menu, and Search features on these pages are particularly useful for quickly finding submissions.

Archived Submissions

Archived submissions are still accessible on Droplet as if they were filed away in your digital file cabinet as we know that sometimes you may need to find a submission that has been previously Archived.

You can find Archived submissions by selecting All or Archived using the dropdown at the top right of your All Submissions page.

Selecting All will display a mix of Unarchived and Archived submissions. Selecting Archived will display only submissions that have been Archived. Active will show you the default list of unarchived submissions.

Searching

The search bar at the top of the page will return all submissions containing data that matches or includes your search query. This could be the person it was assigned to at any point in the workflow, the person it was submitted by, the name of a selected location, etc.

Filtering

There are many ways you can filter submissions: by date, workflow status, form, or packet name / subject if your organization is using packets. 

If you choose to filter by Form, you can optionally include a filter by form version number. When we update your forms, we create a new version to help your team and our team keep track of which submissions will have the new changes. This could be useful if you made an update to your form and would like to see certain submissions either before or after that change. 

If your organization has packets, you will also see the option to filter by Packet Name and Packet Subject.  

The Packet Subject filter can also be applied directly from the packet tracking page, which can sometimes save you a few steps.

Putting it All Together

You can apply multiple filters and search at the same time to narrow down the number of displayed submissions and find exactly what you're looking for. 

For example, you could filter submissions to only display completed submissions made to the Student Registration form that were completed after January 1st, 2022.

If you are unable to locate the submissions you are looking for in your My Submissions, All Submissions, or My Assignments pages, you may need to log out and back in again or talk with someone about the permissions on your account. You can use the steps in this article to help solve this issue.
