How do I use the PDF Stamp Component?

PDF Stamping is an Add-On Feature
Ensure that your Droplet plan includes PDF Stamping.  Our Professional Services team must configure the PDF stamping feature for it to be functional.  Reach out to us with your PDF, and we’ll help you set everything up.
The PDF Stamp Component lets you map Droplet submission data directly onto a pre-designed PDF layout, perfect for forms that require a specific output format.  Once the form is filled out in Droplet, the data is automatically transferred to the PDF, creating a stamped version of the document.  This stamped PDF is attached to the submission and can be downloaded or viewed from Droplet.  It’s especially useful for government or insurance forms that need to be submitted with their original layout.

The PDF Stamp Component is best when a specific PDF format must be used as an output.  Here are some common use cases:

Government Forms
Many government agencies require forms to be submitted in a specific format, such as tax documents (I-9, W-4, etc.), permit applications, or compliance forms.  The PDF Stamp Component ensures that data entered in the Droplet form is automatically mapped onto the required government PDF layout, making it easier to meet submission standards.
Insurance Forms
Insurance companies often need to submit claims, registration, or policy forms that maintain their original design.  Using the PDF Stamp Component, all the information entered in the form can be stamped onto the exact PDF layout required by the insurer.
