How do I use the PDF Page Break Component?

Modified on Tue, 8 Oct at 9:32 AM

The PDF Page Break Component allows you to split your form's PDF output into multiple pages.  By placing a Page Break in your form, you ensure that everything after it starts on a new page in the generated PDF.  This is especially useful for long forms that require organized, easy-to-read PDFs for printing or archiving.

When should I use a PDF Page Break?

Use the PDF Page Break Component when you want to divide the content of your form into separate pages in the PDF export.  Any content added before the Page Break will appear on the current page, and anything after it will start on a new page in the PDF output.

Features & Configuration

Adding a PDF Page Break is simple.  Select the PDF Page Break option from the component library and drag it onto the canvas.  Any content added after this component will begin on a new page in the generated submission PDF.

After placing the component, you can customize a single property in the right-hand panel:

ID
Each Droplet component has a unique ID for referencing in workflows or visibility settings. Edit the default ID to make it more descriptive for easy reference.
