How do I add Translations for different languages?

Modified on Fri, 3 Jan at 7:52 AM

The Google Translations feature is only available with the Plus Plan or as an Add On
Droplet allows you to translate your form into more than 150 languages.  Using Google Translate, we automatically generate translations for form content that can then be fine-tuned by a human translator.  This is essential for reaching global audiences, improving user experience, and fostering inclusivity.

Access the Translations Area

1

Click the three-dot menu in the builder and select Translations.

2

Click + New Language and select your desired language from the dropdown or by searching.

3

All form text will display as translations.  Review and make edits as needed to ensure clarity and accuracy.

4

Click Save to apply your changes.

Add a Language Selector

Now that we have the translations generated, fine-tuned, and saved, we need to add a way for users to select their language when completing a submission.

1

Click the Form tab to return to your form layout.

2

Locate the Language Selector component and drag it to your form.

READ MORE ABOUT THE LANGUAGE SELECTOR ▸

3

In the right-hand properties panel, choose the languages you've added translations for.

4

Click Save to apply your changes.

Updating Translations Over Time

1

If you update any text in your form, go back to the Translations area to refresh your translations.

2

For each language, click the Translate button to update the translations.

3

Updates will be highlighted in light orange.  Once all changes are accurate, click Mark All Correct to clear any warnings.
