This article is only relevant for organizations who do not use single sign-on (SSO), like Google Workspace.
As a platform administrator, you might need to reset a user’s password in Droplet. This is relevant if your organization isn’t using Single Sign-On (SSO). If your organization uses SSO, any password resets will need to be handled by your system administrator instead.
If you have the Admin Role, Owner Role, or a custom role with password reset permissions, you can easily reset a user’s password by following these steps:
Option 1: Reset via Actions Menu
Under Organization, go to the Accounts tab and check the box next to the user’s name.
Click on the Actions menu at the top.
From the dropdown, select Reset Password.
Option 2: Reset via User Card
Click the three-dot menu (⁝) on the user’s account card.
Select Reset Password from the options.
The user will then receive an email asking them to change their password.
