How do I reset my Droplet Password?

Modified on Fri, 12 Apr at 9:03 AM

In many cases we leverage your organization's single sign on system to log you in, so resetting your password through Droplet is only applicable if your organization isn't using SSO (single sign on). If you are using SSO (single sign-on), any password resets will need to be handled by your system administrator.

When your organization uses password based authentication within Droplet, a user with the:

  • Admin Role,
  • Owner Role, or
  • A customized role with permissions for resetting a password

will be able to send you a password reset by following the steps below.

Option 1

1. Select the account by checking the box next to their name.

2. Click the "Actions" menu.

3. Select "Reset Password" from the options.

Option 2

1. Click the 3 dot menu on the account card.

2. Select "Reset Password" from the options.

The user will then receive an email asking them to change their password.
