Can I save my progress on a Submission?

Modified on Fri, 16 Feb at 12:13 PM

If you are working on a submission and you would like to finish it later, you may have the option to save your progress. If the form you're working on has the ability to save (not all forms do), you'll see a "Save Progress" (or similarly named) button near the "Submit" button.

When you press "Save Progress" the Droplet application will create a Draft submission associated with your email address and saves all of the information you have entered so far. To ensure you have access to open the submission again when you are ready to keep working, please ensure you enter the correct email address into the window that opens. When you press "Done", you'll see a confirmation that your work has been saved.

You will receive an email with a link to your submission to pick back up right where you left off and you can access your Draft submission in the Droplet Application in "My Assignments." You will notice anything you have saved and not yet submitted, has a status of "Draft" to make it easier to find in your list. If you have many submissions in your list, you can filter by "Draft" status to only display the submissions you have saved.

You may save your progress as many times as you need to while you're working. Each time it will confirm the save and send you an email with a link to continue working from.

As long as your submission is in the "Draft" workflow state, no one else will be able to see what you've entered into any of the inputs in your section. Anyone who has access to the submission you are working on will only see the information you've entered when you press "Submit" and the submission moves to the next step in the workflow.
